Edgar Yamel Chavez, Founder
My name is Edgar Yamel Chavez, founder of EYC Mechanical & Plumbing. I’ve proudly called Summit County, Colorado home since 1999, after moving from Aguascalientes, Mexico more than 25 years ago. I began my plumbing career in 2013, working with local contractors and later with AL Plumbing, where I developed hands-on expertise in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. In 2023, I launched EYC Mechanical & Plumbing to provide reliable, high-quality service to homeowners and businesses across Silverthorne, Frisco, Breckenridge, and surrounding mountain towns. Today, I live in Silverthorne with my wife and children. My wife manages the administrative side of the business, while I focus on what I love most — solving plumbing problems and earning customers’ trust through craftsmanship and care.
